PFE Dance Showcase is an annual Ukrainian dance competition organized and hosted by the Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble. Established in 2004 with the intention of re-establishing a competition in Saskatoon, Showcase has grown into one of the most highly anticipated Ukrainian dance festivals in Canada.

We are proud to announce that 2026 marks our 20th Anniversary Festival, and we hope you will join us in celebrating this milestone year!

This festival welcomes dance groups from across the nation and is open to competitors from every province. Spanning over a four- or five-day period, the competition is unique in featuring both a male and a female adjudicator for all medium and large group dances, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive evaluation.

The event also includes our highly attended Saturday Night Showcase Concert. This special performance highlights dances selected by the Adjudicators and Showcase Committee, featuring some of the most memorable medium and large group pieces of the weekend, and offers dancers the opportunity to perform in a non-competitive environment. The Showcase Concert is free to the public and is scheduled based on the number and type of entries received. It is typically held on Saturday evening.
